Betty Boop Wine collection

So Welcome Back..... it's about time I started working on this blog and including you on what I am working on, where I get my inspiration and how it's done xxHere is my Betty Boop inspired wine and glass collection.  I made this set for a friends birthday.  The wine bottle was sprayed red using car spray paint and then I hand drew Betty Boop using a permanent marker pen.  The wine glass has been decorated using mod podge and glitter on the stem and another image taken from the internet drawn.  It was finished with a pretty matching bow and put in its own hand made (of course) box.  I was really pleased with how it came out and plan on making more designs...  x

About Me

My photo
Fairycake
It was only in the last couple of years that I decided to concentrate on one hobby specifically and that it should be cakes.. I started baking for friends and family and the feedback I received was so great that towards the end of last year I decided to give this a go professionally. I love to try new things and will always be found experimenting with new flavours or looks. The main ambition I have is to create cakes worthy of a 'desert' status with flavour being very important to me. As are fresh ingredients, locally sourced and an abundance of ideas still to try.. This blog will hopefully go somewhere to jotting down what I am thinking about today and what I hope to achieve tomorrow.
